I was right (Roses)

I was right, the mini rose bushes did go on sale after Valentine's Day! Yay for a rose bush with about a dozen perfect red blooms on it... that should theoretically keep blooming into the summer, not to mention future years. And for only $2.99 too! It was all I could do to resist getting the yellow one, the lavender one, and the pink one to go with it. If they'd had a white one, I probably couldn't have resisted.

Just in case you were wondering, Episode 2 is still just as bad as it ever was.

The bit with the death sticks and the bit about a benevolent dictator are still the only redeaming parts.

I should have gone outside and done something as it was 60 degrees (!!!) out today. But I had it in my mind that I was going to get a lot of sewing and chores done today before I realized how nice it was outside. Instead I kept getting distracted by the movie... "maybe it wouldn't suck so much if I could see what was going on on the screen"... yes, that's me, ever hopeful. I really did get a lot of sewing done though.

I know I'm posting too much today.

So, last time I needed a Depo shot, it was vaguely inconvenient because I was due right around Christmas, and while you can normally just walk in to get a depo shot at the gyno I go to, I had to be worried about them being open. For my next depo shot, I am due the weekend of Easter, so again I'm going to have to worry about them being open. I only have to get this shot 4 times per year, now what are the odds of getting two holidays like that?? Oh wait, very high... there's a reason Easter falls when it does, and there's a reason Christmas falls when it does... that whole equinox, solstice thing.

So without even getting out my calendar I get to know it'll be inconvenient again around the of our wedding (since we're going to be on our honeymoon during the solstice), and again around my birthday (since I'm was a fall equinox baby).

I really am glad I took that class.
