Sewing can be a really expensive hobby. Getting married can be too. And putting them together is also an expensive hobby.
I just spent $65 at Vogue Fabric on a tiny little bag of trim and elastic. It could easily be lost in a shoe box. But I really really really love the trim... I've been wanting it since July.
Not that I've been exactly keeping track, but I think I've now spent more than $200 on materials for my dress. And that's without getting any of the really expensive stuff... actually, aside from the trim, all of the materials were pretty low end. I guess it never helps that I got a lot of materials I didn't end up using as well...
I'm not going to even try to count how many hours I've put into it...
But it's almost done... for real this time...
