Just in case you were wondering

Just in case you were wondering, Episode 2 is still just as bad as it ever was.

The bit with the death sticks and the bit about a benevolent dictator are still the only redeaming parts.

I should have gone outside and done something as it was 60 degrees (!!!) out today. But I had it in my mind that I was going to get a lot of sewing and chores done today before I realized how nice it was outside. Instead I kept getting distracted by the movie... "maybe it wouldn't suck so much if I could see what was going on on the screen"... yes, that's me, ever hopeful. I really did get a lot of sewing done though.

Aw, come on, the action scenes are good, it's just the stuff in between that blows.

Well, the Yodaless action scenes are good...

Bah, the Yoda fight scene was great. I think establishing that Yoda can do more than just pontificate really was necessary.

Indeed, and a *good* Yoda fight scene--i.e., one that wasn't a cheap and absurdly telegraphed deus ex machina, realized with thoroughly unconvincing CGI, would have gone a long way toward improving my opinion of the movie...

Er, what I just said, but with non-sucky punctuation.

The action scenes that don't involve droids? Or factories? Or droid factories?

The weird speak fits quicky swamp Yoda just fine, but it's a little funny when he's supposed to be commander Yoda.
