Bridge Club Fight

There was a fight at the bridge club tonight. As in, a real physical fight between two old dudes.

Anyway, Josh ran right over and put himself between the guys. Eventually everyone calmed down and we played the second half of the hands, but it slowed the evening down, and was definitely more excitement than I normally look for in a night of bridge. I feel slightly traumatized. And I thought the chewing out we got for our multi-2-diamonds last time was bad. These people sure do take their bridge seriously.

I second Ed. Bridge becoming a contact sport. Maybe it will become an Olympic sport then?

Chessboxing? How does that work? Instead of taking a pawn, you get kicked or punched?

This is a real enough thing to have a world federation and championship matches. It hasn't actually made it to the Olympics, but give it twenty years or so...
