Packed up so far:
- Sewing room (now, box storing room)
- Bookshelves
- Office is at about 50%
- China cabinet is at about 80%
Not started:
- Bathrooms (except for raiding the linen closet for padding material)
- Bedroom
- Kitchen
- Living room
- Garage
The trouble with this stage of packing is that we know we're still going to want to get at a bunch of stuff. Josh still wants his computer since none of the laptops play his games, we'll still be cooking, watching movies at home, taking showers, etc. On the bright side, we've decided that things with drawers full of non-fragile stuff will travel with their drawers full of their regular contents. Which means that rooms like the bedroom don't need a ton of packing.
One more full week of work, then a few days or maybe as much as a week here before filling the truck and departing. I'm ready to go now though.
Also, we have too much stuff. Or at least it feels that way when it comes to packing it up.

I keep looking around for things we don't need, and realizing that yes, the kids would miss this if we didn't have it, and that, and I don't want to let go of that, and.... I am so glad to be done with the days of moving every semester or two, but I'm sure I'd have less stuff if I had to do that.
