You may all stand in awe of my sanding prowess

As you may recall, I found this desk along the side of the road one day a few months ago (May 11th it looks like).  I said I was going to strip the paint on and refinish it.  Well, as of tonight, that first and rather more intimidating step is done.  It is free of paint and sanded to 220 grit... ready for its new finish.[Poll #1270193][Poll #1270193]

I voted twice; hope that's OK. (Cherry stain is also my favorite, but honey looks like it would work well on that, too.)

And I do indeed stand in awe of your sanding ability, dedication, and attention to detail. The desk looks amazing.

It will look great with any of those choices. It's a good-looking desk!

Seconded. Before, it looked kind of like a kid's desk. Now, it has a certain charm and elegance that's rather attractive.

I tend to go for darker colors in my furnishings, personally. But I have to admit it would work well with the otehr colors, even if I didn't pick them.
