Josh and I are the most pathetic people ever. We miss each other when we are at work.

But we get to leave early today and go sign a lease and start moving into our new apartment.

Yay for an hour less away from home every working day starting next week.

Apartment

So we went and spent forever signing papers and reading leases and writing checks. We paid rent for today through the end of this month so that we could get our keys today and drop off the car load of stuff we had with us. When we finally got to the apartment, the keys didn't work. Okay, the mail key worked and the garage door opener worked, and they key to the "people door" next to the garage door worked. But none of the keys would open our apartment door, the front door of the building, or our storage unit down stairs in the garage.

And it looks like they wont be able to get working keys for us until tomorrow afternoon, which means that I can't pick them up tomorrow on my way to work. Which, due to the locations of the leasing office, the old apartment, the new apartment, and work, is really annoying. Not to mention that whole paying for an apartment which we can't get into through no fault of our own thing. I am seriously unimpressed that TWO of the four keys they gave us didn't work, and that there were 5 doors and 6 locks that we should have been able to open, but we were only given 4 keys. And I'm just really disappointed... it takes a long time for Josh to get over there from here given that we only have the one car, and I had hoped to have a furniture discussion and do some measurements while we were there. Now that is going to have to wait until Saturday when we go over with the U-Haul and all our stuff.

In other news, Josh is NOT wearing my red thong. I'm sure you are all excited to hear that.
