I have a very important question
Jul. 19th, 2005 10:58 pmI have a very important question:
How is it that women are not objectified in pornography, and yet men don't think of the women they see in pornography as people?
Seriously, I want to know the answer.
I might buy that pornography does not objectify women, OR I might buy that men don't think of the women as people. But both at the same time? Am I confused or does that just not make sense?
Because I've definitely heard people say, "You shouldn't be upset with your boyfriend for looking at porn because he doesn't think of them as people, and porn doesn't objectify women."
