My Day Today
May. 7th, 2003 07:09 pmMy last class of the semester was this morning. We heard all the seniors' compositions, which was fun, and then we sang "Gaudeamus," which was not so fun because the people I could hear through one ear were singing one set of notes and the people I could hear through the other ear were singing a different set of notes. I'm bad enough at this whole matching pitch thing as it is, but when I'm not even sure which pitch to match it is even harder.
After that I worked on my composition project for music class until lunch time. Josh and I had lunch alone because we are both being mildly annoyed by certain people who will remain nameless. Then we went to the ATM and then to Quality Thrift so I could get a purse. I was actually rather impressed with the selection they had there and I picked out a black one which is somewhat larger and more complex than that I had before, but a similar general idea. Then we went to X-Men 2. I enjoyed it, but I don't think I liked it as much as the first one. ( cut for people who haven't seen it yet )
After X-Men we came back in time for my appointment at Monsour. The psychiotrist said that I should stop taking the Celexa. She suggested that I go onto something else, but I shouldn't start anything until the celexa has had a chance to get out of my system and I don't want to start something when I'm in the middle of moving to a new city and won't be able to go see a doctor if I have a reaction again. I think this means the antidepressant thing gets put off for the time being.
Then I picked up my DVD of Richard III. I'm impressed by the quality, given that it's a tape of a play and all. Then there was dinner. People were talking about silly mathie stuff, which bores me greatly, but I guess I'm not hungry anymore so I can't complain too much. Worked on my composition project a little more, but now my head hurts. I'm going to take something and go lie down.
