Dowling jig (n.) - Probably the sexiest tool you can buy at Home Depot for less than $25.  Niftiest tool since the automagic bread slicer.  Also useful for building furniture.

Also, the dude was very nice when I picked up the coffee table.  It is very shiny and red and I like it.

Alright, so the Venus backpack is clearly a women's pack, and the Mars backpack is clearly a men's pack, but the Saturn backpack? Who is that for? The car?

Sadly all the backpacks which are on sale are extended trip packs. I might someday want to take an extended trip, but there is no possible way I'd be able to carry the pack.

3 bedrooms, 1.1 baths.

So what's 0.1 of a bathroom anyway? A hole you can pee in?

At last! A place to keep your God. Or alternately, to keep your "My God!"s.

God Boxes:

Okay, so I thought it was amusing...

We need to get the name on the phone bill changed. It is spelled so horribly... and we are constantly reminded of it too, since SBC has been selling our info to everyone under the sun. I must say though, it is kind of nice to know just how many of these people have our info thanks to SBC.

"Yes, this is Mrs. Middenorgoff..."

Josh wants to have Data's babies....

I wish he'd mentioned this before the wedding...

Hey Becca, want to guess where in the country people are the oldest when they get married?

Please select units:

I don't think I've ever heard them called Imperial before... though since this software came for England and they mainly use Metric units in England, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they aren't calling them English units.

Towels in the microwave? Maybe not such a hot idea.

Okay, actually it was a red-hot idea, but maybe not such a good one.

I'd blame it all on Josh, but he misunderstood my instructions on baking potatoes in the microwave. (You're supposed to wrap the potatoes in a towel AFTER they come out of the microwave for a few minutes to distribute the heat... but aparently it's been working just fine to wrap the potatoes in a towel BEFORE up until now.)

Just a little FYI from the home the not-quite-newly-weds...
